JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop stress analysis using both classical (hand calculations) and numerical approaches
• Develop structures sizing and coordinate with the design team
• Generate formal engineering substantiation reports
• Develop finite element models and perform finite element analysis
• Research engineering documentation defining aircraft structures
• Attend design reviews and customer discussions

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years of structural analysis (static/dynamic) experience in aerospace
• Experience in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis
• Experience in a flight vehicle internal and external loads derivation
• Experience in calculations of structures made of composite materials
• Experience in writing certification reports
• Experience in various FEA tools

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Airframe structures development and design considering regulating documents to ensure product and/or service meets customer's expectations.
• Independent development of methods for task performance in CAD systems.
• Technical assessment of the project and determination of required engineering resources, work planning within the group of engineers.
• Serves as the organization's representative on cutting-edge projects and programs.
• Acts as a technical advisor to management and customers.
• Studies, analyses, and implements modern approaches in aircraft structure design.
• Performing the representative functions at the customer’s premises
• Monitoring project progress on a regular basis (day/week/month) with subsequent presentation of results to the project manager.
• Short- and long-term planning, goal setting and project management for design engineering teams.
• Coordination of all aspects of a complex or high-value project with internal organizations of the project team, other contractors of the company at all project stages.
• Initiates tasks, determines and carries out all actions to obtain the required results.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• An engineer's degree is required: knowledge of the aircraft structures design fundamentals, materials, technological processes, and operating conditions.
• Work experience in the aircraft industry should be at least 5 years.
• Project management experience, design team lead experience is required.
• Significant experience in PLM (CATIA V5, ENOVIA) systems.
• Knowledge of the certification process for airframe structures. This includes understanding the requirements for type certification and the necessary documentation.
