JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop stress analysis using both classical (hand calculations) and numerical approaches
- Develop structures sizing and coordinate with the design team
- Generate formal engineering substantiation reports
- Develop finite element models and perform finite element analysis
- Research engineering documentation defining aircraft structures
- Attend design reviews and customer discussions
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years of structural analysis (static/dynamic) experience in aerospace
- Experience in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis
- Experience in a flight vehicle internal and external loads derivation
- Experience in calculations of structures made of composite materials
- Experience in writing certification reports
- Experience in various FEA tools

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Airframe structures development and design considering regulating documents to ensure product and/or service meets customer's expectations.
- Independent development of methods for task performance in CAD systems.
- Technical assessment of the project and determination of required engineering resources, work planning within the group of engineers.
- Serves as the organization's representative on cutting-edge projects and programs.
- Acts as a technical advisor to management and customers.
- Studies, analyses, and implements modern approaches in aircraft structure design.
- Performing the representative functions at the customer’s premises
- Monitoring project progress on a regular basis (day/week/month) with subsequent presentation of results to the project manager.
- Short- and long-term planning, goal setting and project management for design engineering teams.
- Coordination of all aspects of a complex or high-value project with internal organizations of the project team, other contractors of the company at all project stages.
- Initiates tasks, determines and carries out all actions to obtain the required results.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- An engineer's degree is required: knowledge of the aircraft structures design fundamentals, materials, technological processes, and operating conditions.
- Work experience in the aircraft industry should be at least 5 years.
- Project management experience, design team lead experience is required.
- Significant experience in PLM (CATIA V5, ENOVIA) systems.
- Knowledge of the certification process for airframe structures. This includes understanding the requirements for type certification and the necessary documentation.
